Ok, I haven't blogged in a while. To the few people that check these, sorry 'bout that. I will get back to it soon and very soon. However, there's something I just have to get off my chest...
it is my sincere wish and prayer for 2010 that folks will MIND THEIR OWN DAMN BUSINESS! Stop being nosy under the guise of being helpful or protective. We know that is NOT the case. We know you just don't have a life of your own, so you're fascinated by everyone else's.
I've also noticed that nosy ass people are usually the one trying to make everything about them. They pry so they can then tell everything THEY did and said. It makes them feel important (in their own minds). It normally goes like this. "So and so went to the doctor"..."Oh, well I told them they should go. And I said that it's probably ____." I, I, I, I, I...I'm getting annoyed.
It all boils down to this. Your life sucks. We've all been there. It's the place where it's easier or more entertaining to focus on the lives of others. It's also your first instinct to make yourself the hero, champion or boss when you tell the story. How unimportant you must feel in your own life. I mean, really. Who cares who's idea it was or who said it first.
Normally I wouldn't care, but when it starts bleeding into things that are supposed to be for other people, I can't take it. When is someone else's happiness or need being met become bigger than your need for attention. We all get selfish at times and there's nothing wrong with that. But, I truly believe that anyone who is completely unable to put themselves aside occasionally is missing out on real life.
So, my point is...GET YOUR OWN. Your own life, your own passions, you own cheerleaders. If you had your own, mine wouldn't matter so much.
